The winter advertising campaign recently kicked off and the results have been very positive in the early stages. On top of that bookings are coming in at a higher than anticipated rate. In light of these strong results from the advertising, we are recommending that you follow up with your leads and recommend that they book before the discount deadlines as space will more than likely fill up before the deadlines approach.

You probably have heard the rule of 7 touches. Basically this means that you need to ‘touch’ a potential client 7 times before you can close a sale. By using follow up letters and doing follow up phone calls this increases those ‘touches’ and, in turn, increases your likeliness to close the sale. For 2011 tours, air schedules will be sent after final payment. Your clients can still make final payment at 60 days prior to departure, however if they would like to get their air schedules sooner and lock in their air price we are recommending that clients make their final payment at 100 days prior to departure.
